What Our Clients FAQ

When can you start?

We tend to ask you when you would like the service to start. Once we have completed our initial assessment (which may take a few days), we can start right away. For emergency situations, we may be able to start sooner.

How long does an assessment take?

This all depends on your level of need, but usually, and initial assessment can take around an hour; which we aim to complete before care starts.

How much will it cost?

This all depends on how much time you need a carer to support you. Our minimum visit is 30minutes, increasing in 15-minute blocks e.g. 30-minutes / 45-minutes/ 1hr, and so on. Once we have established how much care you need, we can create a bespoke quote for you. Please visit our full FAQ’s page on our website for more information on help with care costs, that you may be entitled to.

Will I have the same carer?

Continuity of care is something that we aim to achieve quickly and consistently. At the beginning of your care, you may have a few faces to start with; so that you have a ‘pool’ of cares whom you are familiar. Typically, these will be the carers who cover when your usual carer is on their days off, on holiday or attending training for example.

Are staff insured and checked?

Yes, all our staff are DBS checked at an Enhanced level. We also seek suitable professional and character references, prior to employment.
